About
Lacoste's UNDW31 is an innovative Web3 initiative that brings together a community of brand enthusiasts through NFT ownership. To reward this community and deepen engagement, the UNDW3 team envisioned an exclusive retail experience2: a way for token holders to purchase exclusive physical merchandise3 using cryptocurrency, an experience unavailable to the general public.
My mission, as a project for Arianee, was to build the full-stack storefront that would power this exclusive experience. The task was to connect a Saleor headless e-commerce backend with the necessary Web3 components for token-gating and crypto payments, delivering a cutting-edge retail solution for a world-renowned brand.
The challenge was to bridge the gap between digital community membership and physical commerce, creating a seamless, Web3-native shopping experience for an exclusive fashion drop.
Work
- [x] Developed the full-stack storefront, featuring an Angular frontend and a Node.js backend.
- [x] Integrated the headless Saleor platform for product and order management, and the CoinGate API for crypto payments.
- [x] Implemented the token-gating logic to verify NFT ownership for exclusive store access.
- [x] Collaborated closely with Lacoste's Web3 team to align the technical implementation with the project's strategic goals.
